Safari Photography Tips
with Klaus Tiedge

Klaus Tiedge & Dean Paarman from Travelvids spent just over a month in the bush in Kenya creating content for Klaus's channel as well as a documentary film. Dean spent more than 3 months planning what shots he would need for a massive variety of Social Media Content.

Knowing what the trends are in a certain genre is our game. Photography has become one of the most popular hobbies and professions in the world. People are always looking for inspiration and way to improve their craft. To set yourself a part from the mob, we advised that Klaus create a series of Photography Tips videos.

Top 10 Tips videos

Below is an example of one such social media video. This is Klaus Tiedge's Top 10 Safari Photography tips video. Top 10's are a great way to rank on google and quickly inform your audience of vital information.

This type of video was not just filmed in one day. As we spent a month in the Masai Mara we wanted to make sure the tips we shared were in suitable locations and circumstances. They would be sitting with a pride of lions filming scenes for the film and suddenly Dean would pull his shot-list out and note that this was a great scene for Tip 7.

Planning a strategy is one thing. They stylising the composition and the transfer of knowledge is another. Dean has a great way of working with people to make them feel at easy and deliver the best lines, even if it takes 100 takes.

If you want to impart with your knowledge for the sake of marketing content or even to film course material consider Travelvids. We have made loads of content just like this for ourselves & for our clients.

What gear do you use

Very frequently asked questions are your golden ticket online. Instead of repeating a story over and over again rather film it once and share your story with the world.

In the case of Klaus Tiedge, he was asked all to often what gear he was using on his safaris. We filmed this gear video in a single session.

They are easy to create and yet still this has been Klaus's most invaluable video to his Youtube Channel.
